Stella Globe Massage, established in 1993
Upon completion in 1991of a 1020 hour program in Massage Therapy Certification at MTIC in Denver, CO., I opened my first practice in Steamboat Springs, CO. I have owned and operated my business for 25years and for many years conducted physician prescribed massage therapy treatments for clients. I have extensive work with pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric clients.
I am a Certified, Licensed, Insured Massage Therapist with 25 years of experience. I have Certifications in Integrative Massage Techniques: Neuromuscular Therapy, Deep Tissue Massage, Swedish Massage and Ashiatsu Oriental Bar Therapy. Most of my experience is with athletic adults that come to me for a deep therapeutic massage often scheduling treatments on a regular basis as a preventative tool for maintaining optimal flexibility and overall wellness. However, I also enjoy giving a relaxing massage and incorporating hot stones, reflexology and aromatherapy. My work focuses on relieving pain, creating more mobility while flushing out toxins and ultimately achieving a state of relaxation. I work to create an environment of trust, healing and empowerment for my clients. I integrate several modalities and tools during each session depending on my clients individual needs at the time.
I encourage my clients to listen to their bodies and take away what they have learned and practice good habits everyday to live with optimum health. I love my work and love the challenges that each client brings to my table!
